This week we have started rebuilding our gear system. This new setup will require less shaft collars so we will meet our limits

Compound gears

This week we have begun construction on our tug-of-war robot. We came up with an idea for our compound gear system (shown in the picture) which is meant to have a lot of torque.

HOT SQUAD

Hopefully this week we will start building our robot for the tug of war. We have many ideas that we think will work well with our task and are definitely outside of the box

1st week - Friday

So, after almost an entire week of dismantling and organizing robot parts, we took Friday off to practice Solidworks.  Reattaching screws to bolts can definitely get very boring after a while, so it was nice to have a temporary change of direction.  Our team still patiently awaits when we can finally start building our robots and have many ideas for the "Tug-of-War" challenge

1st week - Monday

This week we started on robots.  But, before we can start building our robots for our first challenge: "Tug-of-War", all of the groups have to work on dismantling all of the robots currently in our bins.  We also have to pair up as many screws with bolts as we can and organize all of the parts into their corresponding bins.

Finally started to work on autonomous for the racquetball challenge. We are trying very hard and we really want to finish this before school ends so we can get an A in the class, and finish all the challenges. We will feel so accomplished if we finish!!!!
